Chairman & CEO of LS Cable & System, Mr. Koo Bon Kyu, Visits and Attends the 30th Anniversary Celebration of LS-VINA Cable & System

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of LS-VINA Cable & System Joint Stock Company, Chairman and CEO of LS Cable & System, Mr. Koo Bon Kyu, paid a visit and attended the celebration ceremony at the Company’s headquarters.

The Company’s management and employees warmly welcomed the Chairman and the delegation from LS Cable & System.

Also attending the ceremony were Vice President of LS Cable & System, Mr. Kim Huyng Won; CEO of LS Eco Energy, Mr. Lee Sang Ho; CEO of LS-VINA Cable & System, Mr. Chang Dong Wook; Deputy General Director Ms. Lê Thị Mai; along with the Company’s leadership team and employees.

The celebration was held in a solemn and warm atmosphere, where everyone looked back on valuable footage recounting the 30-year journey of LS-VINA, from its establishment on January 26, 1996 to the present day. Over the past 30 years, generations of employees have made continuous efforts to build the LS-VINA Cable & System brand as it stands today.

All participants reviewed the images marking the 30-year journey of LS-VINA’s formation and development.

In his speech, Chairman Koo Bon Kyu extended his congratulations to all employees, commending and recognizing LS-VINA’s significant contributions as the most successful overseas subsidiary of LS Cable & System. On behalf of the Group, Chairman Koo also committed to providing the strongest support for LS-VINA to become a leading enterprise in Southeast Asia and the region, preparing for a major leap forward with revenue targets of USD 1 billion by 2030 and USD 2 billion by 2040.

Following the Chairman’s direction, CEO of LS-VINA Cable & System – Mr. Chang Dong Wook delivered a speech acknowledging the dedication of generations of employees over the past 30 years and highlighting LS-VINA’s remarkable achievements on its journey to becoming a regional leader in power cables. LS-VINA products have been supplied to key national projects and the Company has become a trusted and strategic partner of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), as well as major investors and contractors in Vietnam.

High-quality LS-VINA products have been exported to developed markets such as Singapore, Australia, Norway, Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan, with no domestic or Southeast Asian competitor achieving the same level. CEO Chang affirmed his determination, together with the leadership team and all employees, to further strengthen LS-VINA’s development with even greater successes, deserving its position as the best overseas subsidiary of LS Cable & System and reinforcing the prestige and quality of the LS-VINA Cable & System brand on the global sustainable energy map.

During the ceremony, CEO of LS Eco Energy – Mr. Lee Sang Ho presented certificates of merit and awards to outstanding employees who have contributed to the success and development of LS-VINA Cable & System over the past 30 years.

Factory Director Mr. Do Ngoc Thap delivered remarks expressing appreciation for Chairman Koo Bon Kyu’s recognition and positive evaluation of LS-VINA, as well as gratitude for the tremendous support from LS Cable & System Group and Vietnamese partners. He also expressed sincere thanks to generations of leaders and employees for their dedication over the past 30 years. On behalf of all employees, Mr. Do Ngoc Thap pledged to Chairman Koo that LS-VINA is determined to maintain its leading position among the Group’s overseas subsidiaries and is fully capable and confident in realizing LS Cable & System’s new strategic visions in the future.
