On the afternoon of April 13, LS-VINA Cable & System Joint Stock Company (LSVINA) held the 2023 Labor Conference.
At the Conference, the Factory Director - Trade Union President Do Ngoc Thap reported on the company's trade union activities in 2022. Over the years, the company's trade union has always been attentive to timely propaganda and education, understanding the thoughts and aspirations of employees, caring for creating favorable working conditions for them, well implementing the welfare regime, enhancing cultural, artistic, and sports activities to exchange, improve the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among employees. The movements of emulation of the productive labor, the movement of youth union members, and the activities of female workers were vibrant and highly effective.
Next, General Director Kim Jong PiL announced the production and business operation situation in 2022. The year 2022 is a difficult year for the construction industry, electric cable production in particular and the whole society in general due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the macroeconomic policies of the government. Nevertheless, all the company’s employees have united in efforts to emulate productive labor, fulfilling their assigned tasks, contributing to the company's successful production and business operation.
General Director Kim Jong Pil also discussed the company's strategic plan, analyzed the issues that have and have not been resolved, the goals that need to be strived for in order to expand production and business operations, expand exports to the most demanding markets in terms of quality such as Singapore, Japan, Europe, the United States... He also emphasized researching and improving the quality of products, improving labor productivity, increasing salary, bonus, shift meal, and employee welfare policies in 2023.
Representatives of the Trade Union groups in the company spoke highly of the reports by Board of Directors and the President of the Trade Union, and proposed the opinions of the employees to the Board of Directors.
