The consortium of Thai Duong Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. and LS-VINA Cable and System Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as TDEC - LSVINA) won the project worth 402.7 billion VND.

The consortium of Thai Duong Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. and LS-VINA Cable and System Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as TDEC - LSVINA) has been selected to carry out Package 2, which involves excavation and rehabilitation of cable trenches, as well as the supply and installation of underground cables and accessories from location T.07 to junction point T1.01 (4.5 km) as part of the 220 kV Tan Son Nhat Substation Branch Project, with a winning bid price of 402.7 billion VND. The contract's implementation period is 300 days.

With LS-VINA's leading brand and quality in cables in Vietnam and the region, combined with TDEC's extensive experience of over 25 years in electrical cable construction, TDEC is the forefront entity in providing comprehensive solutions for high-voltage underground cables in the country. The TDEC-LSVINA consortium consistently stands as a top contender in critical tenders within the Vietnamese and regional electricity sector.

Prior to this, in June 2023, the TDEC - LSVN consortium also secured a contract worth 247 billion VND for the installation of underground cables from Cat Lai to Tan Cang.

The tender was organized by Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC), with the Project Management Board for the Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid inviting bids and releasing bid documents from March 11 to April 25, 2023. At the time of bid submission, five contractors submitted their bid proposals.

The TDEC - LSVN consortium (consisting of Thai Duong Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. and LS-VINA Electrical Cable and Systems Joint Stock Company) won the contract with a bid price of 242.116 billion VND and 228,000 USD (approximately 247.508 billion VND), reducing the cost by 1.281 billion VND after the bidding process.
